Aladasturi

Aladasturi is a Georgian grapevine. 75–77% of its shoots bear fruit. It is red in color, is edible as well as used for winemaking. The average weight of the bunch of grapes is 200 grams. It ripens in the middle of October, is stored until spring and is transportable. Yield — 70–100 centners per hectare. It is common in Chokhatauri, Ozurgeti, Vani and Samtredia regions of Georgia. Red wine is made from it, which has the best body and pleasant aroma. High-quality, semi-sweet wine Aladasturi is made from overripe grapes.
