Vladimir (Lado) Sh. Aleksi-Meskhishvili (b. September 28, 1915, Tbilisi – d. June 21, 1978, Tbilisi) was an architect, Honored Figure of Georgian Art (1961), winner of Shota Rustaveli State Prize (1969) and other state awards.

In 1939, he graduated from the Georgian Industrial Institute. He participated in the World War II (1941–1944). His workplaces included: mine projects (1944–1958), State Design Institute of the Executive Committee of the City Council of Tbilisi (1958-1960), State Design Institute of the “SakhMsheni” (1960–1963). Aleksi-Meskhishvili was the chief architect of State Design Institute of the City Council of Tbilisi (1963–1968), the head of the architectural workshop from 1968 until his death. His major works include: sanatorium “Imereti” in Tskaltubo (1957; with L. Janelidze, with the participation of T. Paniashvili), Tbilisi Sports Palace (1961; with I. Kasradze, designer D. Kajaia), Agricultural Institute of Georgia (1967; with G. Gabashvili; USSR Council of Ministers Prize, with a group of specialists, 1972), Chess and Alpine Club Building (1973; with G. Ghudushauri; Georgian Komsomol Prize, 1974), Central Telegraph Building (1978; with T. Mikashavidze; State Prize of Georgia, 1983), Memorial of Glory in Vake Park (1970s; USSR State Prize, 1988; with a group of authors) and others. He was a professor at Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.

He is buried in the Saburtalo Pantheon in Tbilisi.
