Aleksandrouli

Aleksandrouli is a Georgian red semi-sweet wine variety.

It grows with average intensity. Around 70-90% of sprouts bear fruit. The sugar content is 90–100 g. The grapes ripen at the end of September and provide an average yield of 50-60 centner/ha. It grows mostly in the Ambrolarui and Tsageri regions. When the sugar content is 27–28% and acidity is 6–8 g/l, high-quality, naturally semi-sweet wine such as "Khvanchkara" (mainly in the microregion of Khvanchkara Village) is produced. While "Barakoni" and "Alexandrouli" are produced when the sugar content is lower (20–21%).
