Robert (Giorgi) Bardzimashvili (January 17, 1934, Tbilisi – July 5, 2003, Tbilisi) was a singer and People’s Artist of Georgia (1967).

In 1960, he graduated from the Tbilisi Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages. During his student years, he founded a vocal-instrumental quartet (1958), which gained big popularity. Based on this quartet, in 1960, he established the professional vocal-instrumental ensemble "Orera" under his leadership. The ensemble enjoyed great success touring many foreign countries. A film titled “Orera – In Full Swing” was made about this journey.

In 1975, he founded the new vocal-instrumental ensemble "75," which existed until 1986 and became a winner of the Tbilisi International Jazz Festival in 1978. At the same time, from 1983 to 1986, he led a children's ensemble he "Lakhti," and in 1988-92, he directed the ensemble "Georgia." His ensembles’ repertoire included both Georgian and foreign songs. Bardzimashvili was famous for his mastery as a soloist and his original performance style.

From 1995, he engaged in teaching. He founded the "Lakhti" school-studio, where young people could learn vocal and instrumental music (guitar, percussion, wind, and keyboard instruments).

Bardzimashvili received several state awards. He won a prize at the International Sopot Festival (Sopot, Poland, 72).
