Pavel Berkov (b. December 14, 1896, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi – d. August 9, 1969, Saint Petersburg) was a Russian literary critic, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union (1960), corresponding member of the German Academy of Sciences (Berlin) (1967). He researched the issues of Russian and Soviet literature.
Berkov was a researcher and popularizer of Georgian literature. For years, he taught Georgian literature at Leningrad State University (present-day Saint Petersburg State University), and prepared many Georgian specialists in Russian literature.
He published articles dedicated to Shota Rustaveli, Vazha-Pshavela and other Georgian writers.
