Pyotr Bletkin (b. June 20, 1903, Tbilisi – d. February 5, 1988, Tbilisi) was a Russian painter and graphic artist, Honored Artist of Georgia (1961).
He lived and worked in Georgia. In 1929, he graduated from Tbilisi Academy of Arts. He was a student of I. Charlemagne, Y. Tadevosyan and E. Lanceray. He participated in art exhibitions from 1930. His main works include: Carnival (1936), Portrait of V. Petrova (1937 – 1938, Art Museum of Georgia, Tbilisi), Tbilisi Rain (1961), Portrait of Irma Sokhadze (1977) and others. Bletkin’s portraits and landscapes depicting old Tbilisi and various parts of Georgia (Kakheti) reveal the artist’s special passion for coloristic tasks.
