Adrien Dupré (d. 1831, Smyrna (Izmir), Turkey) was a French explorer and diplomat. He was involved in diplomatic service mainly in the countries of the East.
In 1799–1822, according to the French Colonel Rottier, Dupré was the French consul in Trebizond, where he also served as the Russian vice-consul for a time. Dupré's works mainly cover his diplomatic experience. In Journey to Persia, he also mentioned the Caucasus. In the excerpt Description of Some Cities and Ports of the Black Sea the geography, trade and economy of Batumi, Akhaltsikhe and the surrounding areas — Rize, Erzurum, Trebizond, Tokat and Sinop, are described. Some parts contain a historical overview as well.
