Erge Treasure

Erge Treasure — three Bronze Age treasures. It was discovered in the village of Erge (Khelvachauri): 1. Ten bronze Colchian axes from the 17^th–15^th centuries BC (discovered in 1936); 2. A bronze axe and fragments of ingots from the 15^th–14^th centuries BC (discovered in 1960 in the village of Zemo Jocho); 3. Two bronze axes, two billhooks, 4 hoes and ingots from the 11^th–10^th centuries BC (discovered in 1960 in the Ekalauri district). The items are preserved in the Khariton Akhvlediani Museum of Adjara.
