Tavdgiridze, Mehmed Shakir Pasha (1854, Livan District – 1918), Marshal of the Ottoman Army (Mushir, 1905). He served as the military governor of Kosovo. He was the private secretary to Sultan Abdul Hamid II and was, for a time, sent into exile. In 1918, he served as the commander of the naval and land forces. He is buried in Istanbul, at the Çemberlitaş Cemetery.
