Tetri (White) George Church, St. George Monastery Complex. It is located on a high hill, 2 km south of the village of Atskuri in Akhmeta Municipality. The complex includes a church, a bell tower, a fence and auxiliary buildings. The church and the fence date back to the 10th–13th centuries, the bell tower to the 16th century, and the auxiliary buildings were built in the 19th–20th centuries. The church consists of three construction layers. The dome dates back to the 16th century and is built of brick. The interior was completely decorated in 1988.
The church is functional and is subordinate to the Alaverdi Bishopric.
In 2016–2017, the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia carried out restoration works on the church and the bell tower, as a result of which the bell tower was returned to its original appearance. The territory of the complex was landscaped.
