Amirejibi K. Mikheil (02.09.1833, Avlevi village, nowadays Kareli municipality – 25.11.1903, Tbilisi) was a General of the Russian Cavalry.
He started his military career as an officer in the Tbilisi Grenadier Regiment (1851). During the Crimean War (1853-1856) he fought against Ottoman forces on the Caucasian front near Bayandur, Başgedikler and Kars. Between 1877 and 1880, he commanded the 156th regiment of Elizavetpol (nowadays Ganja). He distinguished himself in the Russo-Ottoman War (1877-78) during the Battle of Deveboynu. He became a General in 1877. Between 1893 and 1899, he commanded the 39th Infantry Division. In 1899-1903, he commanded the first Caucasian Army Corps.
Amirejibi received numerous military medals and awards.
