The drachm of Aristarchus of Colchis, a silver coin (average weight 3.25–3.75 g), minted in the name of Aristarchus, the ruler of Colchis, in 52–51 BC. Obverse — a crowned man, either Aristarchus or Helios or Pompey, reverse — a crowned goddess — Tyche or Phasiane and the Greek inscription: “Aristarchus [who] rules Colchis” and the date – 12, which corresponds to the 12th year of his rule.
