d'Ascoli Emiddio Dortelli

Emiddio Dortelli d'Ascoli was a 17^th-century Italian monk of the Dominican Order. In 1624–1634, he was prefect of the Dominican mission to the Crimean Tatars and the Black Sea Tatars. He described the Black Sea Tatars and Circassia in detail and wrote a brief overview of Samegrelo.
