Abdi Beg Shirazi (full name Khvāja Zayn al-ʿĀbedīn ʿAlī ibn ʿAbd al-Moʾmen), Persian historian of the second half of the 16th century, author of the work Takmelat al-akhbar (“The Historical Supplement”), dedicated to Princess Pari Khan Khanum, daughter of the second Safavid shah, Tahmasp I (1524–1576). The first part of the work chronicles the reign of the Safavid Shahs Ismail I (1501–1524) and Tahmasp I until 1560/1561. It contains information about the campaign of Div Sultan Rumlu in Georgia in 1521, the presence of King Levan of Kakheti, King David of Kartli, and the ruler of Samtskhe-Khetri Kvarkvare at the court of Shah Ismail I.
