Iarajulebi Necropolis

Iarajulebi necropolis, an archaeological monument of the 4^th–8^th centuries, was discovered in 1962 in the village of Iarajulebi, Tianeti Municipality. Several stone tombs were damaged during the excavations.

The necropolis contained jewelry and clothing-related items: bronze clasps, rings, broochs, parts of armor and belts, a seal; silver clasps, an iron knife; carnelian and glass beads.

The material is kept in the Tianeti Museum of Local Lore.
